There have been a lot of incidences (six this semester) of people pulling fire alarms on Thursday nights when they’re being drunk and stupid and essentially compromising the little sleep I get a night by a few hours and scaring the everliving fuck out of me in the process because the alarm is so ear piercingly loud.
I did end up falling asleep not long after I posted that, however. No fire alarms.
